Seth Soesbe ’19 Entrepreneurial Leadership Student SETH SOESBE ’19, of Box Elder, S.D., as an entrepreneurial leadership major with a concentration in building construction, was the first student to graduate through a DWU and Mitchell Technical Institute partnership. He took first place at the Student Idea Competition for his invention, RoboCon, a self-driving robot to fasten subfloor panels, and was awarded a Small Business Innovation Research FAST grant his senior year. Following graduation, Seth has plans to expand his business, Soesbe Contracting, and apply to graduate school. She was named the 2019 Ms. Wesleyan and is now attending medical school at the University of South Dakota. She was involved in Student Ministry Council, Future Teachers’ Organization, Dakota Wesleyan Choir, student ambassadors, Big Friend/Little Friend and was on the women’s golf team. She is now a fourth-grade teacher at Longfellow Elementary School in Mitchell.
